A lawyer by profession, Mr. Howard Mitchell maintained a successful Commercial Law Practice for thirty-five (35) years, with concentrations in Mining Law and Taxation, before retiring in 2010. Mr. Mitchell has demonstrated a strong commitment to Public Service for decades and was appointed to the Board of the National Housing Trust (NHT) in 1987 and again served as Chairman from February 2008 to June 2012. He serves as a Justice of the Peace (JP) and 2017 he was awarded the Order of Distinction (Commander Class) for outstanding service to Business and the Public Sector. Read More
Dean Sullivan | Vice President
Dean Sullivan has spent his professional life in the hospitality industry and currently serves at the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Couples Resorts, Jamaica. In this role, Dean directs all aspects of Couple’s promotional efforts including advertising, sales, call-center operation and revenue management. Throughout his career, Dean has filled varying roles for public and private interests – including public relations, digital marketing, sales, brand development and media buying. With a son born less than 32 week gestation, Dean has a personal endearment to the work of the Issa Trust Foundation related to prenatal and neonatal care and improving infant mortality.

DanDan Knue – Registered Respiratory Therapist and Neonatal-Pediatric Specialist
Dan Knue is a Registered Respiratory Therapist and Neonatal-Pediatric Specialist that began with the Issa Trust Foundation in January, 2018. He has been a respiratory care educator for 38 years and though recently retired, continues to teach newborn and pediatric critical care for Muskegon Community College’s Respiratory Care Program. Dan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Western Michigan University, a Master’s degree in Management from Aquinas College, and is a Fellow in Governance from the Michigan Health and Hospital Association. He has held many positions on State and regional boards for health care delivery and education and was formally a Trustee and Board Chair for North Ottawa Community Health Systems in West Michigan.
Ewan SimpsonEwan D. A. Simpson – Attorney-at-Law
Ewan Simpson, Attorney-at-Law, holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Intellectual Property Law, from the University of Turin (Italy) where he studied on scholarship from the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), in 2009. He was called to the Jamaican Bar in 2004, having completed studies at The University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona (B.A. Geography) and Cave Hill (LL.B), as well as the Norman Manley Law School, and has served in various Legal capacities including a two year stint as Legal Officer at the Ministry of Education immediately upon returning home from his studies in Italy.
