I believe you will agree that the most memorable events are those times when you made a difference in someone's life. What we are doing today is planting a seed for the future, making a difference for our children, the future leaders. Thank you Dr. Stacy McConkey, University of Iowa Children's Hospital, Pediatric Medical Director of the Medical Rotation program, and all the medical providers who continue to help make a difference.
When I go to sleep at night, I give thanks and prayer for all of the volunteers who made a measurable impact for the children they saw. I also give prayer for the babies and children we could not save.

The Issa Trust foundation encounters many bright young faces each day. This video focuses mainly on these children. Each child comes with a tale to be told, such as a talented quartet giving back to the volunteers an unforgettable performance, HIV sisters waiting in a pediatric ward for adoption that is unlikely to come, or a newborn whose future seems grim as he tries desperately to breathe on his own. No matter the situation, all of these children radiate warm smiles that motivate the Issa Trust volunteers to create a healthier Young Jamaica.
